A benchmark progress bar can be used to show how a respondent’s performance compares to a defined benchmark or group. This article describes how benchmark progress bars are set up and interpreted.
Settings
Several properties, such as Name and Text, are common to all node types. A detailed article describing these common settings can be found at the end. The remaining settings are described below.
Variables or questions can also be included in all expressions. When typing q.. in the expression editor, a list of possible choices is displayed.
| Setting | Description |
| Text position in regard to the score bar | Sets the position of the text in relation to the score bar (left, right, below, or above). |

| Show score in progress bar | Displays the respondent’s score in the progress bar when enabled. |
| Score expression | Defines an expression where a colour, value, and label can be set. The score is typically based on a variable or an answer from a question. |
| Cut-off values expression | Defines the maximum number of ticks shown on the progress bar. |
| Display reference score | Shows that reference score when enabled, otherwise only an arrow is shown. |
| Reference groups expression | Adds reference groups for comparison. Vertical lines are displayed on the bar to visualise scores from other groups. |
| Comment | A comment displayed below the graph. |
| Show gradient | When enabled, displays a gradient on the bar. |
| Rounded corners | When enabled, the bar corners are rounded. |
